A substantial portion of the real estate practice entails the settlement of residential and commercial real estate sales contracts. Settlements are prepared on networked computers, utilizing several software systems. All real estate settlements are conducted by an attorney. We find that settlements which are prepared and conducted by an attorney are rarely delayed due to problems wich the attorney cannot work out, and that client satisfaction and understanding are substantially enhanced as the attorney will, as a matter of course, explain loan and conveyancing documents.
